If you have an active SNAP card, you can start using Double Up today—no sign-up required! Use your tokens to buy any eligible foods at the market.

What SNAP/EBT Covers

You can use your SNAP/EBT  to purchase any SNAP-eligible foods, including:

  • Fruits and vegetables 

  • Meat, poultry, fish

  • Dairy products

  • Bread, cereals, grains

  • Eggs, beans, nuts, condiments 

  • Snack foods and non-alcoholic beverages 

  • Seeds and plants that grow food at home

How Double Up Matches

Double Up Food Bucks gives you a dollar-for-dollar match—boosting your food budget! But to match, consider the following conditions:

  • Applicable at participating farmers’ markets, farm stands, or mobile markets​​

  • Double Up dollars can only be redeemed for locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables.

Double Up Food Bucks is accepted at several farmers markets throughout the Rio Grande Valley. In addition to our location, you can also use your SNAP benefits to double your dollars for fresh fruits and vegetables at the McAllen Farmers Market and the Harlingen Farmers Market. We encourage you to explore and support these local markets while enjoying healthy, affordable food

options for you and your family.
